Careers- Open Position- Part Time Engineer-Possible Full time
Act2 Financial is a digital analytics platform that improves retirement for those 65+. Act2 was founded by two experienced financial service executives who have spent their careers helping people live a better retirement. We are pre-seed and looking to complement the team with a more technical team member. Pre-funding, we are looking for someone who wants to work part time as a side gig or while finishing up a degree.
You will work to design systems and API’s that power Act2 Financial. Your role will consist of designing and implementing many of our connectivity needs with other players in the Financial world through APIs, Protocols, system architecture and more.
You will help us drive our selection and use development of backend, data, network, security and cloud platform technologies. Proficient in writing code in a modern programming language (C/C++, Go, JavaScript, NodeJS, Perl, Python, Rust). You will have experience using major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure). Specific expertise in developing database architectures and rules engines are major plus.This is a great opportunity to join a new FinTech on the ground floor and help guide its system development, and help people live a better retirement.
